01

A regional hub that is densifying

Saint-Jérôme had 80,213 residents at the 2021 census. Today’s city was created in 2002 from the merger of Bellefeuille, Saint-Antoine, Lafontaine and Saint-Jérôme.

01

Downtown and the station

Saint-Jérôme is the terminus of the commuter train line of the same name. The City is planning to densify its downtown around the intermodal station by 2030, with mixed-use building projects.

02

The sectors from the merger

Four former municipalities, neighbourhoods built in different periods. Condo buildings there are most often small, with outdoor parking.

03

Small boards

Six to twelve units, two or three volunteers, and a budget where snow removal and insurance take up almost all the room. This is the kind of building we manage in Saint-Jérôme.

What the City of Saint-Jérôme expects from your building

The collection by-law was amended in June 2026. Here is what it provides by building size.

Collections, at eight and then thirteen units

For garbage, a building of one to seven units uses wheeled bins; from eight to twelve units, bins or a container; at thirteen units or more, a container, with a service agreement signed with the City. Organic waste may not go in the garbage, and the owner of a multi-unit building must provide occupants with enough containers. The City supplies blue and brown bins free of charge.

The rules on the City’s website (in French)

Overnight parking in winter

The ban is fixed: from November 15 to April 1, from midnight to 7 a.m., across the whole territory, whether or not snow clearing is under way. The City provides exceptions over the holidays, and allows parking on certain streets and in certain municipal lots shown on its map.

In practice, we check which category the building falls into, sign or update the service agreement with the City when one is needed, and make sure occupants have the required containers. Because the parking ban lasts all winter, we look with the board at whether the building’s lot is enough for visitors.

If the building has a programmable sprinkler system, the City requires it to be entered in its register: we handle the registration.

These are the rules the City published in October 2026. They change from year to year: the City’s website prevails.

Our presence in Saint-Jérôme

Small buildings under management, in the northernmost city of our area.

We already manage syndicates in Saint-Jérôme. They are small buildings, where the monthly minimum applies and where the package that includes annual meetings and registers then costs the same amount as financial management alone.

On site, we call on a network of subcontractors who already travel to Saint-Jérôme for our buildings. The board keeps the decisions, and it receives comparable quotes before making them.

We publish neither the name nor the address of the syndicates we manage — the same discretion you will benefit from. References are provided to boards seriously considering a proposal.

Questions Saint-Jérôme boards ask us

Do you already manage condo buildings in Saint-Jérôme?

Yes, small buildings. We do not publish the names of the syndicates, but we provide references to boards considering a proposal.

Our building has ten units. Do we need a container?

Not necessarily. From eight to twelve units, the City’s by-law allows wheeled bins or a container. We compare both with the board: available space, cost, and the agreement that has to be signed with the City for a container.

Where can visitors park overnight in winter?

Not on the street, from midnight to 7 a.m., from November 15 to April 1. The City publishes a map of the streets and municipal lots where it is allowed. We send it to co-owners in the fall.

Do you travel as far as Saint-Jérôme?

Yes, when the building requires it, and our subcontractors already travel there. The rest of the work is done through our platform and by phone.

Do you have an office in Saint-Jérôme?

No. Our mailing address is in Montreal, with no counter. The work is done through our platform, by phone and on site when the building requires it.
