Partners
Partners chosen for what they do well.
Building inspection, contingency fund study, co-ownership law, brokerage, plumbing, pest management, disaster restoration: for what lies outside day-to-day management, we work with firms whose trade it is. The syndicate contracts with them directly, and the board remains free to choose.
multiRent works with independent professionals for needs that go beyond managing a building: building inspection with Legault Dubois, the contingency fund study and the maintenance logbook with MGB Québec, co-ownership law with Deveau Dufour Mottet, real estate brokerage with Moncef, plumbing with J’aime mon plombier, pest management with Gestion Parasitaire du Québec, and disaster restoration with Groupe Soresto. These partners are not multiRent subcontractors: they invoice the syndicate. In an emergency we dispatch the one whose trade it is; in the normal course, the board remains free to appoint someone else.
The partners
Seven trades, seven firms that know divided co-ownership.
Building inspection
Legault Dubois
The full range of inspection services for co-ownerships, by inspectors who do nothing else: pre-purchase inspection, common-portion inspection, targeted assessments. Their report feeds the maintenance logbook and the fund study.
Building engineering · Bill 16
MGB Québec — Mon génie en bâtiment
Contingency fund study and set-up of the maintenance logbook, the two documents required by August 14, 2028. We pass them the building’s history and build their conclusions into the budget.
Lawyers · Co-ownership law
Deveau Dufour Mottet
Interpretation of the declaration, collection, amendment of by-laws, disputes. When a question is a matter of law, the syndicate’s lawyer is who we turn to — and we say so.
Real estate brokerage
Moncef
A broker who knows the documents a syndicate has to provide at a sale, and who asks for them at the right time. For a co-owner who is selling, or a buyer who wants to understand the building before committing.
Plumbing
J’aime mon plombier
Residential, commercial and multiplex plumbing: repair and replacement of fixtures, plumbing inspection, rehabilitation of the main sewer line. A plumber who takes the time to explain the work before doing it — which is what a board wants to read in an intervention report.

Pest management
Gestion Parasitaire du Québec
Inspection, extermination, heat treatment for bed bugs and preventive protection plans. In a multi-unit building an infestation cannot be handled one unit at a time: their digital intervention reports let the board follow the whole building.
Disaster restoration · Building emergencies
Groupe Soresto
Water damage, fire, decontamination and reconstruction. Ten branches across southern Quebec, including Montreal Centre and the South Shore, on-call day and night, IICRC-accredited technicians, a Régie du bâtiment licence in every branch and APCHQ membership. When a loss hits the common areas, the nature of the damage decides who attends — not whichever number happens to be at hand.
What we expect from a partner
The same standards we hold ourselves to.
- A practice specialised in divided co-ownership, not one service among others.
- The insurance, licences and professional-order registrations their trade requires.
- Documented work, transferable to the board and to the next partner.
- Acceptance that the board compares, and may choose someone else.
- A written quote to the syndicate, invoiced to the syndicate.
What it changes for your syndicate
The file arrives complete
Maintenance logbook, history of interventions, plans, minutes: the partner gets what they need from the start, without the board having to gather it.
The follow-up is done
We coordinate the intervention, track the deliverables, and put the result where it belongs — the budget, the logbook, the register.
The board keeps control
Nothing obliges a syndicate under management to use these partners. If your board already has its inspector, its engineer or its lawyer, we work with them.
Frequently asked questions
Do we have to use your partners?
No. The board chooses its professionals. We suggest these partners because we know their work, and we collaborate just as well with those your syndicate has already retained.
How do we become a multiRent partner?
By writing to us through the contact page, with your co-ownership practice, your insurance and two syndicate references. We answer on a business day.
What about notaries?
Notaries are not partners: they are professionals we serve at every sale, with a complete file delivered without chasing. How we work with notaries.
Let’s talk about your building.
Fifteen minutes is enough to place your syndicate — and to tell you which professionals it will need, or not.
